Bigham Taylor Roofing Corp., one of northern California’s leading commercial roofing companies, has been using the same logo since the company’s opened its doors in 1977.While it had served the company well, to remain contemporary and competitive, BT management felt like a change was needed.
So, they turned to Farinella for a refreshed logo, website, collateral materials, and marketing materials. The company also had an idea for a marketing video and asked us to execute on that concept.
The Farinella team spent time talking to the client about likes and dislikes, studying the marketplace, and working through a host of ideas.
Twelve roughs were narrowed down to three and then those were further refined and shown across a number of applications so the client could see how it worked.
Although the company was moving their logo into the modern era, management wanted to honor the spirit of the previous mark by matching the blue and orange found in the old mark.
Once finalized, the Farinella team extended the new look to the company’s website and collateral materials.
Farinella had delivered Bigham Taylor a new website a handful of years ago, so we had a deep knowledge of the company’s history and approach.
This time around though, we wanted to push the company’s expertise and add new project stories and detail on the Services page. So, we refreshed all the content and added where appropriate.
We also moved the company to WordPress to make it easier to update and utilize as a marketing launch pad.
Bigham Taylor management had an idea for a marketing video —showing the locations where they had done work and featuring a handful of projects — and they asked us to execute it.
The Farinella team handled all scripting, animation, directing, production, voice over recording, and post production.
The entire project set Bigham Taylor up for the next number of years and our team continues to support the company’s marketing needs.
