Devereaux, Kuhner & Co. LLP is a San Francisco, California-based full-service accounting firm founded in 2010.
The firm’s founders engaged the Farinella team to create the firm’s brand + identity, website and collateral materials. That work was launched in 2010.
We returned in 2016 when the firm was renamed, refining its logo and creating a new website.
During the original assignment, we also executed a public relations and social media campaign, created and serviced a quarterly email newsletter, and provided marketing support when needed.
The Farinella team was involved in developing the firm’s brand + identity from day one, identifying and creating the logo and voice for principals Mark Devereaux, David Kuhner and Karisa Chin.
The key was to create a dynamic look for the firm that would be unlike any other accounting firm while giving the appearance of confidence, stability, and professionalism.
Farinella also managed the concept, creation, execution and implementation of the firm’s new website. We wanted to convey expertise and confidence, without sounding and looking staid and stodgy.
To create touch points for potential and current clients, we created social media accounts on Facebook and LinkedIn.
The firm found the two networks good ways to extend the personality of its staff and maintain its professional reputation. We also trained a couple of associates to independently manage the firm’s social media marketing efforts.
DK&C retained Farinella to provide creative counsel for DK&C, helping guide the firm’s marketing, advertising, public relations and social media executions.
We also wrote, designed, and delivered quarterly email newsletters covering firm news, updates to the tax code, planning suggestions and introductions of the firm’s key staff to its readers.
